Use

The heat controller regulates the cooling power of cooling systems depending on the current system temperature.

Parameters and Connectors

The reference cooling power is controlled by a current measured temperature (▶TCur) and a reference temperature (▶TRef). If the measured temperature (e.g. storage temperature) exceeds the reference temperature by deltaTup the heat power output is set to QCoolMax. If the measured temperature falls below the reference temperature by deltaTlow the heat power output is set to 0. A linear interpolation is performed between these extreme values.

Model Background

The following figure shows how the output volume flow behaves as a function of the temperature difference between ▶TCur and ▶TRef. In this case, deltaTup = 1, deltaTlow = -1 and QCoolMax = 3 kW are assumed.
