Use

The heat controller regulates the heat power of heating systems depending on the current system temperature.

Parameters and Connectors

The reference heat power is controlled by a current measured temperature (▶TCur) and a reference temperature (▶TRef). If the measured temperature (e.g. storage temperature) exceeds the reference temperature by deltaTup the heat power output is set to 0. If the measured temperature falls below the reference temperature by deltaTlow the heat power output is set to QHeatMax. A linear interpolation is performed between these extreme values in case of UseStatic='false'. Otherwise, the controller switches only on or off at QHeatStatic.

Model Background

The following figure shows how the output volume flow behaves as a function of the temperature difference between ▶TCur and ▶TRef. In this case, deltaTup = 1, deltaTlow = -1 and QHeatMax = 3 kW are assumed.
